Extended Deadline: South Asia Research Grants for Lund University Researchers

research

Two SASNET research grants for Lund University scholars now have an extended application deadline: 20 October 2024.

SASNET annually awards scholars at Lund University grants for writing and submitting research applications on South Asia topics. We have now extended the application period for two separate research grants:

Grants for Writing a Research Application 2024 (Ansökningsmånad)

A grant intended to support individual researchers at Lund University in their writing of research applications. The grant equals one month's full-time work. While members of all faculties and departments are welcome to apply, the proposed research application has to be clearly centred on and address issues that relate to South Asia.

New deadline: 20 October 2024.

Planning Grant for the Submission of a Major Research Application

A grant for Lund University researchers who are in the process of putting together and submitting a major national or international research application. Examples of such applications include the EU framework programme and programme applications to Riksbankens Jubileumsfond. The proposed research application should clearly address and attend to issues that relate to South Asia.

New deadline: 20 October 2024.

The reserach grants above both require a completed doctoral degree. However, for doctoral students studying the region of South Asia, the South Asia Travel Grant for Doctoral Students is currently open for applications. Application deadline is 18 October 2024

Welcome with your applications!
