During the annual Almedalen Week in Visby, SASNET co-organised a panel debate, together with the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI).

The panel debate "What Does India Want in Global Politics and How Does it Affect Sweden?" took place on 28 June at the Almedalen Week in Visby. The event was co-organised with the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) and was held as part of Lund University's official program during the week.

The panel consisted of Cecilia Oskarsson, Sweden's Trade Representative in India, Business Sweden; Henrik Chetan Aspengren, Senior Analyst and Lead, Project for Nordic-India Relations at UI; Malin Mendel, Foreign Correspondent to India, SVT; Jakob Skovgaard, Associate Professor of Political Science at Lund University, specialising in international environmental policy and Ted Svensson, SASNET Director.

The panelists shared their perspectives on the topic, which were later summarised by the moderator. The door was then opened to the audience for further questions.
